The 2008 Colorado Ballot

Proposition 104

Summary

The open meetings laws allow closed door meetings when discussing personel issues. This proposition would require open meetings when the discussions are between a school board and the teachers union.

This has so little campaigning around it that there aren't even websites for or against it. (Who on earth goes to the effort of getting an initiative on the ballot, but then doesn't even create a 1 page website supporting it?)

I don't think it matters much either way, nor will it have much impact. Aside from the idiots on the JeffCo school board, when't the last time you heard any news from a school board of any interest?

I may leave this one blank on my ballot.
